Sudeshna Banerjee

Sudeshna Banerjee is the Data Science Executive in Bank of America. In this role, she serves as data science strategist focusing on leading initiatives centered around leveraging and monetizing data globally. She is responsible for leading the development of enterprise data projects and insights supporting areas like Global Banking & Markets, Retail & Wealth Management, Regulatory & Compliance, Risk Management. In her role Sudeshna identifies technology trends as it relates to data and advanced analytics, drives the sourcing, screening and testing, partnering with lines of business. Over the course of her tenure in the Bank, she has pioneered new ways to benefit from data and has over a dozen of patents. Her passion lies in catalyzing change at the intersection of Data, Technology, AI and Business.

Banerjee is the Vice Chair, Board of Advisors for UNCC Data Science and Business Analytics Program. She has a Master’s Degree in Economics from North Carolina State University, a Masters Degree in International Business from Symbiosis Institute of International Business in India and an Undergraduate Degree in Economics from Fergusson College in India. She is based in Charlotte, NC.
