Anita Sarkar

Anita Sarkar has more than 20 years of experience working on cutting edge technologies at startups and Fortune 500 companies such as Intel Corp, Yahoo Inc and Bank of America. She has led teams developing new products as well as implementing large scale enterprise digital transformation in telecom, hi-tech and banking industries. Currently, she is the Director of Conversational AI Technology at Ally. Prior to this she was the Director of Engineering Projects at Stratifyd, a Charlotte, North Carolina based startup developing AI driven data analytics products. Anita has a Masters degree in Computer Science from IIT Delhi and an MBA from the Duke Fuqua School of Business.

Anita is passionate about the power of human connections and is actively involved in the innovation ecosystem. She is an angel investor and mentors entrepreneurs through local accelerators She has been a mentor with the Cherie Blair foundation that is empowering women entrepreneurs across the globe. She volunteers as a grant reviewer for NC-IDEA, a foundation that helps entrepreneurs at all stages of business development.
